Yenisey River discovery

The easiest way to experience Yenisey river is the hydrofoil "Raketa"-type public boat. It serves on the route between downtown of Krasnoyarsk and town of Divnogorsk which is located approximately 40 km away upstream of the river towards south. It departs from the River Station (Rechnoy Vokzal). Note, the boat does not reach the Krasnoyarsk dam since it gets only to Divnogorsk, which still 10-15 minutes away from the dam by car. But you might like to include this boat ride to our famous Trip to the dam. Thus, we can pick you in Divnogorsk and drive you further to the dam. Then you will come back to the city by car and enjoy the countryside and not miss the significant places en-route, mentioned in the tour’s description.

Timetable of "Raketa" hydrofoil boat (season: June-September)

Departure from Krasnoyarsk:

11am, 1 pm, 3pm, 5 pm,
7 pm (weekends and holidays only)

Departure from Divnogorsk:

12 am, 2 pm, 4pm, 6 pm,
8 pm (weekends and holidays only)

* Cost of the ticket: 60 rub. one way.

You may take a long trip along the river by using a local passenger vessel. There are many of them serve on the route Krasnoyarsk-Dudinka. This is long: almost 2000 km towards north. But note, due to special administrative status of Norilsk, Dudinka and Igarka you can not visit these cities unless you have a special permission. The best if you have these cities mentioned in your visas as it seems it is almost impossible or TOO complicated to obtain such a permit in Krasnoyarsk. They will just not sell you tickets without a permit.

But you can always avoid dealing with Russian bureaucracy if you just travel to the legally opened towns. For example Yeniseisk, the old Siberian town, former capital of the territory by the time Krasnoyarsk was established. This small cozy town lately was listed among towns under UNESCO protection for its interesting wooden architecture and beautiful churches. You may get there by boat and come back to Krasnoyarsk by bus, train or order SibTourGuide’s transfer.
