Location

     Krasnoyarsk: 15-30 minutes away from the center (by public transport) towards west. Residential, ecologically clean area with forest and cross-country ski tracks nearby. The place is located just next to the end bus stop, which makes it easy – you will never miss your bus stop on the way home. The public transport is very efficient – you will not wait for your bus longer than 15 minutes. Upon your arrival we will provide you with all buses numbers and written description how to get around by public transport.

Positioning

     The 10th of a 10-floor apartment building, elevator equipped. We get the best views of the area around, see photos.

Description

     The apartment is big, nice and recently renovated. In the guest room: double sofa bed, chair, TV, VCR, many video tapes with movies in English, bookcase, desk, English magazines and books. The room for guests may comfortably accommodate 1-2-3 people. If needed, an extra bed can be provided. In summer season there is one more room in the apartment can be available.

     Available in the apartment 24 hours: telephone, hair dryer, washing machine (for small fee), Wi Fi internet (free of charge).

     Always available for free in the kitchen: tea, coffee, sugar, cookies/biscuits, kettle, refrigerator, pots and pans, drinking filtered water.

• Free Krasnoyarsk Train Station pickup! Once you book our homestay we will provide you with free of charge Krasnoyarsk Train Station pick up.

• Breakfast! This is bed & breakfast! Oksana is a very good cook and she loves it. People that had a chance to try her meal often bring good memories about her “best breakfasts in Russia”. The special treat from Oksana is the home-baked bread. We never buy bread in supermarkets as we bake it home.

• Train Tickets booking! Here, right from home you can book train tickets for your next destination. You can just sit and choose the best trains, best timing, best carriages and best seats.

• Filtered water! We use filtered water to drink and cook (see picture). It is very good and efficient.

• Hot shower! We always a have very good, high pressure hot shower! In summer season in Russian cities hot water is often off for few days due to seasonable maintance works. We have an electric boiler that completely solves this issue and our guests never face up with this challenge while staying with us.

• Visa registration can be provided for extra charge if you staying longer than 7 nights, excluding weekends and holidays.

• This is the budget accommodation! We don’t compete with hotels though, as the main goal of this project is to allow tourists get some insight of local life in Siberia “as is”. While offering the budget accommodation, on the other hand, we know that for such travelers we offer the best accommodation option in terms of price and quality.

• English-speaking environment! We speak English and enjoy meeting people and communicating with our guests. You will be supported with all your needs while you are here. Ask about the best places and best timing to go the places of your interest and use our local knowledge.

• Guided trips around Krasnoyarsk! While staying here you can join Anatoliy's booked tours, decrease the cost of tour for you, meet other fellow-travelers and have more fun while touring.

About us

     This homestay is the home for this website owner Anatoliy Bryuhanov, where he lives with his wife Oksana and son Maxim (14 years old in 2011). We have been working as a host family with foreign travelers in Krasnoyarsk since 1996.

     Anatoliy works in Krasnoyarsk and the area around as a private tour guide and runs this as the family business. You can book Anatoliy’s tours and get the best knowledge about the place that you are traveling through. Check out our tours and excursions section.

     Oksana teaches in a local university. Maxim is in school. Over the years we have shared our home with hundreds of people and happy to realize that we learnt how to do it best.

     Maxim studies English and he also learns what hospitality is like. As he needs to improve his language skills we offer for our guests Maxim’s quick Krasnoyarsk Orientation Tour in exchange of practicing English. This is free of charge, as we expect our guests will put him into English-speaking environment.

     Book this accommodation online! This is easy and highly appreciated. Unfortunately we are not always available for short notice bookers who just arrive to Krasnoyarsk and ask for homestay accommodation. At the moment we may have somebody staying with us or have our family plans set. But feel free to contact us anyway, as we may propose you another great and budget alternative! Sometimes it works! ;)
